The Dakar Rally is off to Argentina
Following the cancellation of this years rally because of security fears in Mauritania, the organisers of the 2009 event have decided to head off to South America
The 2009 edition of the most famous race in the world will run from January 3rd to 18th, and will travel through Argentina and Chile in a 9,574 km route (5,652 of which will be timed).
The Dakar Village will develop in Buenos Aires from December 15th to 31st.
